This case stems from an allegation of date rape. After a thorough counter investigation by my office the prosecutor dismissed the case.

A former client was charged with harassment because of racial bias. The client left anti-immigration literature in company lunchroom. Case dismissed on defense motion that the writing was protected free speech.

Harassment, Reckless Driving, and Following Too Closely in a Motor Vehicle.
An off duty Minnesota State Trooper claimed that my former client was an aggressive driver who threw a bottle out his window at him on the highway. After a jury trial the former client was found not guilty of all charges.

Domestic Assault by Strangulation, Interfering with a 911 Call, and Domestic Assault.
After intense negotiation the charges were dismissed by the prosecution.

Controlled Substance Crime in the Third Degree.
A former client was in possession of a large amount of cocaine in the truck of his motor vehicle. The drugs were found in a search after a traffic stop. After an evidentiary hearing, the court ruled the police conducted an unlawful search and suppressed the evidence resulting in a dismissal of the charge.

Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree.
A former client was charged with possessing methamphetamine precursors with intent to manufacture. After plea negotiation the case was dismissed by the prosecution.

DWI and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing.
After an evidentiary hearing the Court ruled the police acted unlawfully. The case was dismissed.

After plea negotiations the case was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Controlled Substances Crime in the First Degree
After an evidentiary heating the Court ruled that the police acted unlawfully in the search and seizure of the evidence – methamphetamine. Case was dismissed by the Court.

A former client was charged with felony theft.

Perjury and Soliciting a Juvenile to Commit a Criminal Act.
After an evidentiary hearing and legal research the case was dismissed by the Court.

Assault in the Third Degree
A former client was charged with assaulting a bar patron which resulted in substantial bodily harm. After a jury trial, the jury found the client did not start the bar fight, acted in self defense, and returned a not guilty verdict.

Disorderly Conduct.
After negotiations the prosecution dismissed the case.

Theft by Swindle
A former client was charged with nine (9) counts of theft by swindle, a felony. It was alleged that the client, a landlord, wrongfully obtained public housing money. After a trial the client was found not guilty of all charges.

Criminal Vehicular Homicide and Operation, Violating the Restriction on the Number of Passengers a New Driver can Transport, and Careless Driving.
This case stems from an accident on an icy road that left one person dead and three seriously injured, the state alleged the client was under the influence of controlled substances. After a jury trial, in which the defense called a University of Minnesota pharmacy professor to explain the dosage and affects of the controlled substances the jury verdict was not guilty of criminal vehicular operation and homicide four (4) counts but guilty of careless driving and violation his provision licenses. In the end, the client was not incarcerated.

After a jury trial the client was found not guilty.

Assault in the Third Degree and Domestic Assault.
A former client charges with an assault resulting in substantial bodily harm and domestic assault. Client was accused of hitting his girlfriend. After a jury trial the client was found not guilty.

Assault in the Fifth Degree.
A former client was charged with assaulting a neighbor during a dispute. The client asserted self defense. After a jury trial the client was found to be acting in self defense and therefore was found not guilty.
